Les Barons. Enquête horlogère dans la ville en damier.

The time has come for the members of the Cercle des Barons!

Uncle Louis, the prestigious watchmaker of the 1900s, had his latest creation stolen. Follow in your ancestor’s footsteps in the museums and through the streets of the watchmaking metropolis. Will you be able to identify the culprit among the watchmaking bosses and recover the timepiece that changed your family’s history? Live an urban adventure in the places emblematic of the watchmaking town planning of La Chaux-de-Fonds.

This treasure hunt mixes historical facts with an imaginary story and requires no prior knowledge of the participants. It is a creation by Marikit Taylor and Loïc Hans.

Contexte of the creation of the game

On 27 June 2009, La Chaux-de-Fonds and Le Locle were included on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Recognised for the universal value of their watchmaking urbanism, the towns will celebrate the 10th anniversary of this recognition in 2019. This game has been created as part of the festivities for this event, which honours the work of the true barons and the craftsmen of time measurement, past and present.
